What is the Stepping Stones Program?

 

This is the preliminary program to the Davis Autism Approach Program

 It is a gentle, interactive, non-rote method that provides support for individuals on the autism spectrum who are under 8 years old or have limited language. 

 

The program takes the client through a sequence of early childhood development stages as well as providing tools and techniques for self-regulation. Providing the client with the foundation required to reach their full potential. A support person, whether being the client’s teacher, parent or caregiver is also given instruction. This team approach between the facilitator, client and their support person enables a well-rounded influence for the clients learning.
